Church plans 2nd vigil for man killed in beating

SHENANDOAH — The healing continues.

A Reconnecting Healing Service to help Shenandoah residents cope with the beating death of a Mexican immigrant will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church, 38 E. Oak St., the church’s pastor said.

“That ‘reconnection’ is just to go back to the foundation of the town, to welcome everybody to be community people and also to start the healing process,â€
