PA-Man accused of raping boy, 17

Man accused of raping boy, 17
    By: CHRISTOPHER RUVO

"That's him," the boy said, crying. "That's him +"

The 17-year-old was in tears as he identified the 48-year-old man he was accusing of raping him at the Bucks Landing Apartments in Warminster, according to court records.

Police arrested Emigdio Asencio, who lives at the apartment complex, on Saturday, immediately after the boy identified him as the attacker.

Asencio was sent to Bucks County Prison on 10 percent of $1 million bail. He remained incarcerated Thursday, according to a prison official. Immigration authorities have placed a detainer on Asencio, meaning there are suspicions he is in the United States illegally.

"This is pretty shocking," said Warminster Supervisor Frank Feinberg. "I feel very sorry for the boy who was attacked."

The victim told police that Asencio confronted him at the north side steps to building H-1 at the Bucks Landing Apartments on the 100 block of Street Road around 10:30 p.m., said records.

Asencio made "sexual overtures" toward the teen and then exposed himself to the boy, court papers said.

The man made the boy touch him sexually, then became more aggressive, pinning the teen's arms behind his back and forcing him toward another building, said records.

The two ended up inside an apartment where Asencio held the boy down on a bed and raped him, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Advertisement When the assault finished, the teen told Asencio that he had to leave to take medication, records said. Asencio allowed the boy to go. The alleged victim then went to a friend's apartment and called police.

When officers arrived, they went to the apartment where the assault allegedly occurred. No one answered, but a resident of the apartment arrived around 1:15 a.m. and let police inside. There, they found Asencio sleeping in a rear bedroom, court papers said.

Police brought Asencio outside. From a distance, the boy identified Asencio and broke into tears, records said.

A nurse at Abington Memorial Hospital examined the victim. She determined he had injuries consistent with being raped.

"This is a horrible thing to have happen," said Warminster Supervisor Gail E. Johnson. "We do the best we can to prevent these things."

It was not clear if the boy was suffering from a medical condition prior to the assault or whether he knew Asencio before the alleged attack. The Bucks County District Attorney's Office declined to comment on the case. Warminster police could not be reached for comment.

I'd like to know if the resident of that apartment and the landlord were arrested too? They should be!
