A 34-year-old man who molested a teenage girl in Bethlehem Township will serve five months to two years in state prison and could end up being deported to his native Peru.
Modesto Osco of Wilson was sentenced Friday by Northampton County President Judge Stephen Baratta after earlier pleading guilty to indecent assault, a misdemeanor.
Early July 30, Osco inappropriately touched the girl, who was 13, at a township apartment, according to court records.
Once Osco completes his prison time, he faces a detainer from the federal Immigration and Naturalization Service that could result in his deportation.
