    Sheriff's deputy nabs suspected illegal alien

    Allegheny County sheriffs arrested a suspected illegal immigrant outside the county's Family Court building.
    Frederico Salazar, 27, of Mexico, approached a deputy sheriff yesterday and said he was confused about a notice he received from state police regarding a drunken driving arrest, according to a sheriff's office report.

    Salazar admitted he had no driver's license or green card and said he entered the country illegally 12 years ago, the report states. He was taken into custody, and federal immigration agents later discovered he had been deported, according to the report.
