Shoplifting Leads to Illegal Immigrant Arrest

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, CLINTON COUNTY -- State Police in Lamar said a shoplifting incident led them to the arrest of six illegal immigrants.

Police said on Thursday, a 17-year-old stole merchandise from the Sheetz store on Hogan Boulevard in Mill Hall.

Surveillance footage led police to the Lock Haven Motel, where they found the accused. Also at the motel was six other Hispanic males. Police said they could not produce identification.

They were taken into custody.
