Panel rejects prohibition on harboring illegal immigrants
LITTLE ROCK Legislation that would have barred anyone from harboring or transporting illegal immigrants has been rejected by a state Senate panel. Members of the chamber's Judiciary Committee raised questions this afternoon about whether the proposal would criminalize the activities of some humanitarian organizations, such as shelters for the homeless and battered women.
The proposal by Representative Jon Woods of Springdale was rejected on a 2-to-5 vote of the committee. It had passed the House last week.
Under Woods' bill, anyone who knowingly concealed, harbored, sheltered or transported an illegal immigrant could have been charged with a misdemeanor. Woods said he introduced the prohibition because of the growing immigrant population in northwest Arkansas. Woods and supporters of the measure said it would merely mirror federal laws, but members of the committee questioned whether local prosecutors and police could afford the added burden.

So what other criminals can be harbored?
Is it only a special deal for the Sacred Mexican National
who is illegally invading our country.
Is the Sacred not to be touched Mexican National granted
blank check pardons........
Oh the wonder and awe of what can be accomplished
with the cooperation between the rotten stinking forces
in Good ol Mexico
And the people who happened to be born on American land
whose parents are American citizens that will
Sell the rest of us and our heritage for a couple of bucks.
Oh the wonder and awe.
