Mexican Mafia Plea Deal

Man expected to testify against other suspects

RAYMONDVILLE - A Mexican Mafia member was sentenced to 60 years in prison for the murder of a woman in Willacy County.

Luis Carlos Mares confessed to being involved in the murder of Joanne Chavez. It happened nearly four years ago.

He was one of ten Mexican Mafia members charged with her murder. As part of his plea bargain, he's expected to testify against the remaining suspects.

To bad it was not a cop, then the bastards would have got life without parole or a death sentence if in Okla or TX, I guess a womans life is not quite as important as a cops life, how sad, even in America, as we lamblast the middle east for treating their women terrible, they are still only considered to be second class citizens, I guess when it comes to imposing sentences on evil persons for the taking of their life.
