    How about a heart for citizen students from Oklahoma, Nevada, California or any other state? They pay out-of-state tuition to attend school in Texas. Perry stated that the parents of illegals would save $22,000 in tuition yet what about citizen parents who pay the full fee? Why are they saddled with the extra $22,000 when illegals get to save money. BTW, has anyone asked Perry what we're preparing illegal students for? They legally cannot be hired in the U.S. So are we paying their education so they can get really good jobs in Mexico? Or does he plan on an amnesty that will allow them to work here - taking jobs from American citizens?

    As a long term resident of Texas and someone who loves the state sadly I feel Texas is going the direction of California in some respects and it will continue as the illegal population grows.
    I'm old with many opinions few solutions.
