NumbersUSA says that Michelle Bachmann earns the highest grade on immigration stances among all of the main candidates, with a B-.

Ironically, most of the other main Republican candidates earn D's and F's.

Oh, there goes Perry making the dumb ass ladder comment that many pro-illegal Alien "why bother with enforcement or a Border at all" types make. Well if we make a 50 ft fence, then 55 ft ladders will sell.. Yeah and they can dig a tunnel too.

The point is enforcement and hence deterrence. Therefore why not make it is as hard as possible and cause as much problem for an illegal as possible. If illegal invaders are going to keep coming then any obstacle in their way will help limit some in someway shape or form and pierce their mind that they are doing something wrong, illegal and stupid. The goal should be to make it as hard as possible and to give illegal Aliens the worst time and most trouble possible (in a humane manor of course)... Therefore fences, walls, the Border Patrol, sensors are beneficial.

I would suggest further enhancements such as trap door pits (deep enough to trap but not to hurt), sonic cannons that stun, non-lethal triggered defenses such as bean-bag cannons. Potentially possible thickets of cactus and poison ivy planted. No there would not be a need for a moat or alligators cause that is unworkable upkeep in a desert.

But, the water stations should be removed and signs put up in Spanish saying that there are NO water stations anywhere for miles and miles.

Yeah, Perry is another establishment RINO Neocon failure that once in office will essentially offer little difference from Obama. Like McCain and Gingrich, Perry is good at talkin' the conservative lingo but really is Just like GW Bush-- little to nothing will change, Big government will grow -- Border will stay open to invasion -- cause he is locked in with the NAU. That is a key problem with Perry-- ask the Texas Citizens and the Texas Tea Party about Perry trying to get the NAFTA Superhighway (Trans Texas Corridor) for the NAU thru, doing eminent domain on Citizens,etc.. Perry, just barely won re-election after that episode. Here is video that say Perry is a bad apple... (see about 1 minute mark)

GOVERNOR RICK PERRY SAYS NO TO BORDER FENCE – what do you think?

See below….what do you think about this? Fence? No fence? And what about the political impact of Governor Perry’s opposition to a fence?

Perry tells NH no to border fence

    By STEVE PEOPLES
    Associated Press
MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry says he opposes a fence along the U.S. border with Mexico.

Speaking to hundreds of New Hampshire voters at a private reception Saturday afternoon, the Texas governor says a fence would be ineffective and take too long to build.

The comments, which produced one angry shout, expose a rift with some conservative voters over Perry’s immigration record.

Tea party activists in Texas have been particularly upset by his steady opposition to the fence. He also signed a law giving illegal immigrants in-state tuition for Texas universities.

New Hampshire Republicans are just getting to know Perry. He entered the presidential contest three weeks ago and has already surged to the lead in national polls. Saturday’s visit was Perry’s third to New Hampshire so far.
