    Governor weighs in on hotline

    By 3TV and azfamily.com stsaff

The illegal immigrant hotline has been operating for less than a week and on Wednesday, the governor weighed in on Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s latest invention.

The sheriff launched the hotline on Friday as a tipline for reporting illegal immigrants.

He admits he received some crank calls the first day, but said the hotline has received more than 300 calls.

The governor said she hopes the hotline is being used properly.

The governor of AZ has always been pro-illegal. I was so surprised when she signed that bill.
...nothing more than a namby-pamby political stunt as she had her finger in the wind to see which wasy it was blowing. The bill was on her desk BEFORE the Comp. Immigration Reform vote. She waited and waited to see how that would turn out. She was hoping it would have passed so the bill would have become mute. Since it didn't, she basically had to sign it or come off looking like a fool. Nothing more than her being politically expedient. She's probably thinking it can be overturned on the lawsuits being filed by the exploitive business consortium in Arizona.

I am sure that is true, however, she is really, really pro illegal. At least her speeches were when we were out there a couple of years ago.

Yes, she is probably using taxpayer dollars to help the employers fight this.
