Maricopa County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a man in Phoenix on suspicion of identity theft and forgery Wednesday after serving a search warrant on his pool-service business.
The Sheriff's Office suspects Juan Bojorquez, owner of Bojorquez Pool Service LLC near Van Buren Street and 43rd Avenue, had numerous employees working under him using fake Social Security numbers to secure their jobs, according to a statement from MCSO.
MCSO officials said Bojorquez also had used another person's Social Security number and told investigators he was from Mexico and in the country illegally.
Bojorquez has been booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail.
Detectives are still searching for more suspects involved in the investigation.
