Lt. William Moyer of the Shenandoah, PA police department returned my call a while ago. He said that they were given a heads up about the “Luis Zavalaâ€

It seems more and more likely that the fugitive Luis Zavala, and the beating victim, Luis Ramirez, are one and the same person, Luis Eduardo Ramirez Zavala.

And the plot thickens.

So it does.

Someone on the original article posted a comment about how it isn't right to blame the victim, and if it was someone who got mugged or raped, there wouldn't be an issue.

What do you guys think?

This is so unreal - what a two week period. All the children's lives are so messed up, now. And what about each family involved and all the pain.

Just when pity gets a hold of oneself, there is always someone worse off than oneself.

And the plot thickens indeed. You know one of the boy's attorneys knows about this criminal record on Ramirez because in one statement I read or heard he said "we're going to be checking to see if Ramirez had a criminal record". And at the time I thought "how strange" unless they knew he did.

This is a horrible story. I am watching CNN who is interviewing people who say that we the people who want immigration laws enforced are responsible. I in no way condone beating anybody to death for any reason other than self defense. That being said, I feel that If Luis what-ever-his-real-last-name-is had not broken our laws, he would not have been there to be beaten. I feel that our Government, by not enforcing the laws, is partially responsible for this too. I think it is horrible that so many lives had to be destroyed. I hope Kennedy and those who are in favor of illegals understand that it is their policies that led to this. I am afraid this is only the beginning. If our government does not do their jobs, things are going to get really ugly.

If Our National Borders were SECURED and Our Immigration Laws were ENFORCED there would not be a problem and the ILLEGAL would not be dead! Agree that if he was in tha act of committing a crime, in the country ILLEGALLY, he is responsible for his death.

The truth of this will come out. Don't forget we've only heard from Arielle Garcia, 17, and her illegal "husband" she's been with for 4 years and already had a kid with 2 years ago. There are other witnesses to what came down and there will be more come out when that 15 year old girl he was waiting in the park for starts talking and her mother starts talking and the other boys start talking.

The whole reporting on this has been very one-sided. This 25 year old did more than his friends are telling.

Um like statutory rape? Lets do the math here. Mother of his children 17, he is 25. They have been together 4 years, that would make them 13 and 21 hmmmm. You know they had sex 3 years or so ago, when she was 14 or 15 and he was 22 or 23. I don't think their child was created in a lab. Then he was seen walking home her 15 year old sister, wow, sis was just about the right age here. They also suspect that the "victim" was using a false name and a fugitive. There is more than meets the eye here. This still does not condone what those boys, or whoever, did. Unless this is proven to be self defense or defense of another, they still need to be punished.
