I don't agree on that strategy. If someone commits a crime in this country, they should be tried and punished according to our laws. Once that sentence is finished, then deport them.

We have too many that use the border as a revolving door. So deporting him, he might be back doing it to another girl in a week.

He's out on bond. He could be doing it now to another girl or the same girl under your plan. He's playing with his new baby as we speak, with the girl right there, who is probably his daughter.

Interestingly, the article doesn't state whether the man is a legal immigrant, illegal immigrant or naturalized citizen. Considering where this happened, I'm going to assume that was on purpose. You can be born in Guatemala and still be here legally.

You're absolutely right and I've said the same thing in the past. These folks must be made to pay for their crimes before being deported.

You can't be serious. Are you actually proposing he be deported without serving a prison sentence for his crime to that poor little girl? You sense of justice is very contrary to our country's values and principles. Unless the man can live to be over 100 years old, he needs to die in prison!

Oh save the "values" and "principles" crap. If our country had either one, this SOB wouldn't have been in our country for the past 20 years to begin with.
