Police Arrest Accused Stalker, Rapist

People in one Pittsburgh neighborhood are breathing a little easier.

Pittsburgh Police arrested a man they say was not only a peeping tom, but a stalker, burglar and a rapist.

Henry Espernoza, 32, faces one charge of rape and several burglary charges, after he allegedly raped a woman and stole panties from several others in the Westwood section of Pittsburgh.

According to police, Espernoza stalked about 20 women in the same neighborhood.

Investigators say Espernoza is an illegal alien from Honduras, and moved to Pittsburgh after living in Philadelphia.

He allegedly used an alias, Henry Rodriguez.

Police say Espernoza had a habit of stealing ladies underwear and placing them in the homes of other women.

When Espernoza was arrested, he was carrying a pair of ladies undergarments.

Immigration officials are also involved in the investigation.
