A car slid off the road at 8:42 a.m. Jan. 28 at Meadowood and Eastgate drives. Police said three passengers admitted to being Mexican natives in this country illegally.

Police contacted the immigration office, which contacted Homeland Security, and Border Patrol was called to see what to do about the men.

Since Border Patrol officers were unable to pick them up, police were told to let them go.
