WINSTON-SALEM - Investigators took computers Thursday from four people who were believed to be involved in a scheme to sell fake Social Security cards and other ID documents to illegal immigrants.
In all, five people were charged with 34 felony counts in the probe of a fake document ring operating out of a mobile home in Winston-Salem. One person arrested appeared to be a man purchasing a false identity document, said Lt. Jack Coltrane of the license and theft bureau in the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles .

"One gentleman was behind a computer printing stuff when we came in," Coltrane said. "He had a customer."

Those arrested were Isai Sanchez, 17; Guadalupe Lopez Rodriguez, 28; Samuel Cruz Sanchez, 30; Antonio Yanes Moncada, 30; and Velisario Sanchez Ventura, 26. Coltrane said Moncada was buying the document.

Officials received a tip in September that led to surveillance of the mobile home on the southeastern side of the city
