Furthermore, it's also known that the longer a politician is in office, the more he or she becomes beholden to big campaign donors that keep them in office. I know Harry gets a lot of funding from the state's powerful gambling industry. As the saying goes, just follow the money and the answer will normally reveal itself.

While the gambling industry is powerful in NV, the mining industry is more so. They own Reid. They also employee lots and lots of illegals, mostly Mexican. I know a lot of people only see Vegas when they think of NV, but our real money makers, and movers and shakers, in this state are the mine owners.

Reid pulls switch on train proposal

LAS VEGAS – Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said yesterday he no longer supports a proposal to build a magnetic levitating train between Disneyland and Las Vegas.

Instead, the Nevada senator said he's backing a competing high-speed rail project. The DesertXpress train would connect Victorville, 85 miles northeast of Los Angeles, to Las Vegas and would rely largely on private funding. Reid spokesman Jon Summers said the senator's decision was based on “which one is going to be done and which one is going to be done faster.â€

I agree with you 100% this man should be ashamed of himself right along with a lot of others in the democratic party who are selling off America. These Illegals is the reason that quite a few states and the country as a whole is in the RED. They have had everything given to them at the taxpayers expence. Also they are receiving benefits that are denied to American Citizens. Can you imagine what one can buy with $35.00 a month in food stamps now days for an American Citizen? Then you see Illegals in the grocery store with 2 and sometimes 3 carts full of food and handing the cashier a food stamp card. These folks can have more than one person in the household working and still get several hundered dollars in food stamps. this is a shame and a disgrace and also a slap in the face of all Americans.

Maybe a copy of this should be mailed to old Harry Reid just to let him know that we know that he can be bought by the highest bidder or the most voters. He needs to see this!

We Nevadans know that it's an uphill battle to oust Reid, but you'll find that we're a tenacious, dedicated group. I know that more people oppose him than want him and as more and more Nevadans are finding themselves out of work while illegal aliens fill those jobs, our ranks continue to swell daily. Reid's in for one heck of a fight to keep his seat.

i wonder, does vegas or reno have a local talk show so people can call in and talk about things, or are they all just national radio shows?
it would be interesting to listen to a local show and see what the people think about when Reid's name is mentioned
