Talk about being out of touch!
We need to hire 100K a month to stay level and so we make the decision to IMPORT 125K a month from other countries, not to mention the ones who cross our borders illegally.
Highest unemployment rates in decades so now we have to find a way to makes these illegals legal AND decide not to use E-verify to make sure our tax-dollars are going to Americans.
Biggest depression since 1929 and we can't take care of our own citizens so we have to makes illegals legal so we can add more to our monthly tab of benefits. We already know that 53% of immigrants are on public benefits.
Could politicians, across-the-board, get more stupid and self-obsessed than this?

Illegal Immigration
The White House and the Congress must work on other issues important to this country and the American public. Talking about illegals is a waste of time. Just deport all illegals. Period. No debate. We have to remove from office all those politicians who help illegals. The politicians should work on other issues. We pay their salaries. Stop talking about illegal immigration. Never talk about illegal immigration. Period. This November let's change the US Congress and in 2012 let's remove Barack Obama from the White House.

re: Several community groups planned to vent ...
re: "Several community groups planned to vent some of that frustration in a news conference Monday in Washington. The groups also are trying to organize tens of thousands of people from around the country for a March 21 demonstration in Washington..."
It'd be GREAT if "...Several community groups..." were met/ countered by an ALIPAC or friends of ALIPAC so the American news watching public may have BOTH sides of the story...

Below is a saved article about Graham's role in amnesty legislation from the beginning of this Administration which was posted by Populist on Nov. 15, 2008:

There is a similar story in General Discussion, but this story from WaPo specifically states Graham wants to team up with Obama and McCain to push amnesty:

John McCain
McCain-Obama Meeting Set in Motion by Graham
By Michael D. Shear
The upcoming meeting between President-elect Barack Obama and his onetime rival Sen. John McCain was set in motion during a phone call over the weekend between Obama and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), McCain's closest friend.
In an interview Friday, Graham said that Obama requested the meeting during a 20-minute phone call that the South Carolina senator described as a "pleasant" discussion about how they could work together effectively.
"We just talked about the desire to find something meaningful to work on," Graham said. "He was very nice to me, said that he considered me a serious, reform-minded senator that he could do business with."
Graham said that Obama raised the idea of "sitting down in a serious way with Senator McCain ... where they can find common ground." The details of the meeting were worked out between Graham and Obama's new chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel.
(Emanuel and Graham worked together during the campaign as the two debate negotiators.)
The campaign between McCain and Obama became nasty at the end, but Graham said the pair remain politically aligned on a number of key issues.
He said the energy package drafted by a bipartisan group of 10 senators, including himself, could easily serve as a model for cooperation with the Obama administration -- and something that McCain could help lead on.
Graham said that McCain and Obama are philosophically alike on budget reform, Social Security changes, earmark reform and immigration.
"If the administration wants to move forward with immigration again, I stand ready to do that," Graham said.
Aides to Obama said the meeting with McCain is likely to be a broad discussion about those issues where the two men agree.
One thing not expected to be on the agenda: a rehash of the sometimes not-so-nice things said on the campaign trail. Those close to both men say they have moved on and are focused on the future.

Is this the Lindsey Graham that stood with McAmnesty(McCain) and Kennedy a few years ago to give the Illegals a free pass. Couldn't the Republicans find a more worthy speaker for this topic. The Americans are screwed!

La Raza gets huffy in huff post....
White House Meeting Today on Immigration Reform
By Jerry Kammer, March 8, 2010
President Obama is due to meet today with the two senators who have been trying to plot a legislative course to an immigration reform bill, and the National Council of La Raza is impatient for clear signs of movement.
"If the meeting is just to 'hear more,' it's not going to cut it," Clarissa Martinez of La Raza said in Huffington Post. Martinez wants a clear sign of movement from Obama's meeting with Sens. Charles Schumer and Lindsey Graham.
"With the Congressional legislative runway getting crowded and time running out before the November elections, it is time to land this plane," said Martinez. "Monday's meeting must be followed by a clear, bipartisan proposal and a firm timeline for Senate action. Anything less will be regarded as more stalling by the tens of thousands coming to DC to march in two weeks."
Martinez was referring to a March 21 demonstration intended to raise the pressure for congressional and White House action, despite the widespread feeling in political circles that there is little chance for substantive action on a bill this year.
In a report from the White House on Friday, Univision reporter Lourdes Meluza said that while presidential advisers "are aware of the difficulty of the political challenge, nevertheless they say the president hasn't moved back from his intention to advance this project."
In that report, White House adviser -- and former NCLR official -- Cecilia Munoz said the Obama administration is asking that Schumer and Graham produce specific proposal in the form of an immigration reform bill.
