I actually watched the speech, twice, to be sure I got exactly what Trump said. He didn't say "more". So all our "friends" are lying for clicks. Whatever. I guess that's the business they're in and no one cares but me.
Okay, you're the only one I see having a tizzy over a single word in a news article headline. On H-2A visas, there is no numerical number on H-2A visas that are allowed to come here for work in the agricultural industry. If those numbers were less than normal it had nothing to do with Trump and more to do with the agricultural industry (farmers) hiring more illegals to get their workers instead of using the H-2A visa program. As for the H-2B visas, all of us were extremely disappointed when the Trump administration raised those numbers, especially after his repeated talk of placing American's first! There was no defense for the increased numbers.
Yes, we are all "extremely disappointed" last year over the one-time 15,000 additional H2B visas. They came, they worked, their employers paid all their taxes and a prevailing wage, and they left. Ancient history. No crime, no welfare, no anchor babies, no "cheap labor". The H2B visa workers are paid the prevailing wage by law and it's now strictly enforced by Trump which is why they didn't even use all of the 15,000 he agreed to issue out of the 70,000 he could have issued. I realize that you don't understand or don't care what is going on so I'm going to end my discussion of this issue. I brought the fact about Breitbart's headline being false to everyone's attention, so you are informed, but how you choose to use the information, is up to you.
I asked you to show me proof that the increased visa quotas weren't used, but you refused. So why make a statement you can't back up? I have no reason to believe every single one of the 15,000 increased H-2B visas were not used and neither should you. Unless you have evidence to prove otherwise, it is safe to assume they were all used.
