Santa Ana Police DepartmentOn Tuesday, police in Santa Ana arrested Roberto Jacobo Reyes, after DNA evidence linked him to the sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl in February. According to police, Reyes entered the girl’s bedroom through an unlocked window.

Under questioning for that crime, Reyes has reportedly admitted to having assaulted at least four other victims, ages 11-22, in the same manner.

Santa Ana Police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna told the LA Times: “His M.O. was to break into unsecured windows or unsecured doors.“

Reyes is currently being held in the Santa Ana City Jail on suspicion of felony assault to commit rape and burglary, while the Orange County district attorney prepares more charges.

In 2007, Reyes was deported back to Mexico after serving three years in prison for burglary. While in prison, his fingerprints linked him to a sexual assault.

In 1998, Reyes was arrested for DUI and driving without a license, he pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay a fine.

Past arrests also include charges for peeping and possession of stolen property.

Though an illegal alien with a criminal record, Reyes was working for a landscaping business in Santa Ana at the time of his latest arrest.

1. He needs to be locked up for a long time.

2. His employer should be held criminally liable and jailed.

There is no excuse for hiring people who do not pass background checks. Oh wait. he's an illegal alien, the employer didn't perform a check thus knowing he was hiring an illegal alien. A background check would have turned up his record.

keep an eye out around your hood. hes not the ony one by far, and your kids depend on vigilance. we are crawling with alien criminals of all sorts.

this story does not mention if this scumbag was ever deported.
if he was, and came back. how did he get back and who paid the smuggling fee?
and yes lets charge the landscape owner with conspiracy in all these crimes
