Immigration agents in the southeast who specialize in tracking fugitives arrested four times the number of illegal immigrants in the 2007 reporting year as they did last year.

That puts their Georgia/North Carolina territory third out of 24 teams in the nation that focus on fugitives, behind only Los Angeles and Miami, according to federal agents.

"Our teams have become increasingly better at identifying people who not only broke our immigration laws, but who may be a threat to our communities," Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesman Richard Rocha said.

I hope Roger Moore gets elected as Los Angeles mayer and we can start cleaning up California. I have lived here most of my life and have seen my state turn into a thrid world country. Our education system that use to be on of the best in the nation has dropped to I think 54th. I pick my grandkids up form school and find mostly Hispanic students. There are two kids in the grandsons room and one in my granddaughters room that don't speak a word of English. You can't tell me that this does not have a direct negative influence on my grandkids education. The one teacher does not speak any Spanish.

You're right. We were born and raised in S. CA. It use to be beautiful. It's a garbage can now. We can't get out of there fast enough when we go down to visit our parents. I'd rather live in a car up where I live than in S. CA now.
