Thread: Lone Protester--Still Angry

Today I start the countdown, ten days till my cursing trial starts. I can’t wait. I have sent messages to 1200 email addresses asking everybody to be there. Probably 50 blogspots are carrying the message and I have written every interested organization in NC, SC and Georgia asking for their participation also. One lady from California and one from Illinois is supposed to be here. I hope I have a crowd, the more the merrier.
One bright spot in all of this, I received an email this morning about a man arrested and jailed for cursing in 2002. It says “a federal appeals court ruled that an officer who arrested a man for cursing violated the man’s right to free speechâ€

My heart truly goes out to you loneprotester! It pains me every time I read your posts because I know you aren't the only one out there.

I wish I could be there to offer up some small bit of support on your court day, but you will be in my thoughts and prayers. I hope all the people who say they can be there will be there. I wish you the very very best!
