    National security and immigration reform are among the issues examined in a documentary made as part of a thesis project by a University of Nebraska-Lincoln professor.

    In his new film, Luis Peon-Casanova examines legal and illegal immigration from Mexico to the United States and the issues that surround immigration in a presidential election year.

    Peon-Casanova is an assistant professor of advertising and a Mexican immigrant. He took the U.S. oath of citizenship last December.

    Hope you are able to go, Mayday, or otherwise be able to post the documentary, if on-line, on this website. While the good professor may be a Mexican immigrant, I would love to see this as to a clue where his loyalties really lie with the tone he takes in the documentary.

    I wish I could go but unfortunately I have something else that is very important to me going on that night. Hopefully some other Alipacer will be able to go and give us the rundown on this.
