Protesters Hit Streets to Support Immigrants

Several hundred people, including many students, marched through downtown Los Angeles to City Hall Saturday to protest federal legislation that would crack down on undocumented immigrants.
Those participating dedicated the march to Anthony Soltero, 14, of Ontario, whose mother says killed himself after he was disciplined for missing class to take part in an immigration rights march. School officials have said there is no ''corroborating evidence'' to support that allegation.
The front-line marchers carried signs with Anthony's photos that read: Continue the struggle in Anthony's name.''
Police estimated the crowd at between 800 to 1,200 people.
Bryan Nupia, 15, a Franklin High School student, said he joined the march and rally at City Hall because he hopes it would build support for immigrants rights.
"I hope it will change some things," he said. "Immigrants made this country."
Marchers had banners in English and in Spanish and carried flags, predominantly American, although there were a number of Mexican flags and a smattering of those of Guatemala and El Salvador.
Vendors set up shop on the sidewalks along Broadway, hawking food and flags and shouting encouragement as the marchers slowly passed."We have room for but one flag, the American flag" - Theodore Roosevelt

That is the myth..."most of the people working".
Most of these people are not working. We do not have enough jobs for all these people to be working. They are sucking the system dry.
Take a family....extended.....8 to 10 people....wives, children, old people....1 guy working.
Ugh!
The rest on are living on the system.
