4 Protesters Arrested

February 25, 2006 - About two-dozen protesters gathered outside the Crown Plaza Hotel in King of Prussia. They chanted and held up signs calling the Minutmen a hate group.

Action News was in King of Prussia as police moved in to put down a disturbance at the Crown Plaza Hotel. A group called the Minutemen met here for a recruitment drive. They voluntarily help patrol US borders to keep out illegal immigrants.
About 2-dozen protestors gathered and there was some pushing and shoving.

The protestors call the minutemen a hate group.

The minutemen say immigrants are great, they helped build this country. But that illegal immigrants, not only drain local economies but could be a threat to our national security.

John Ryan founded the Pennsylvania Minutemen chapter. He says his group welcomes immigrants, just not illegal ones. He says they drain valuable tax dollars and threaten our country's security.

Protesters here say the Minutemen are nothing more than a vigilante group who arm themselves and wander U.S. borders and they say they won't stand idly by while they organize.

Or, at least a bunch of ignorant lying "useful idiots". They don't seem to be great advocates for the freedom of speech or freedom of assembly stuff either -- except for themselves. Ever notice how the ones screaming Nazi at somebody else are typically the ones behaving like Nazis?

And that's just what I told them, William. I told them they were facists because they want to keep the Muiinutemen from their right of peaceful assembly. On the day the story was posted here on Alipac.

They quickly deleted my comment from their forum. You can see their comment here about deleting anything left by RACIST supporters of the mnutemen

If one visits the Minuteman Project website, one will see for themselves that they do not allow National Socialists becoming members and states specifically that they are not a racist organization.

They main push of the minutemen is to exclude immigrants from gaining political power and civil rights, it dosen't matter if they wear swasticas or not, their program is built on white supremacy.

The spokesperson for the group opposing the Minutemen looked like a complete moron, at best. Pulling the race card is a desperate move on their part, they have nothing else. The Minutemen have legitimate arguments, with U.S. law to back them up.
