Josh Brodesky ,
From your story:
Aviles de Reyes, 23, said she has lived in the United States for seven years. It was unclear if she worked while in the U.S., but she said her husband worked in construction.Where did her husband work ?
This employer is clearly in violation of U.S. law.

How do these groups that are protesting expect the mother or the father to be able to support themselves or their mulitiple children? It doesn't matter if the kids are citizens, the only thing that matters is the parents want to live here, but CAN'T WORK. The employer sanctions law went into effect today. If they can't work, how do they support themselves. If the kids are on welfare, that is supposed to be used for the kids, not to support 2 grown adults, pay their rent, buy their clothes and other necessities, buy food for everyone, it's supposed to be for the kids only. So if they "win" and keep them here, then what? They still can't take care of the kids, so isn't that considered child neglect? At that point, shouldn't CPS step in? Normally, wouldn't CPS try to help the parents become self-sufficient? In this case it's simply impossible for them to be self-sufficient in AZ so really there is no choice but force them back to Mexico. Are these groups just going to take care of the whole bunch of them forever? Are they going to take care of the illegal parents until they are 80-something and pass away? THEY CAN'T WORK ANYMORE. THEY CAN'T TAKE CARE OF THE KIDS SO WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MEXICO WHERE THEY WON'T WORK AND AZ WHERE THEY CAN'T WORK? Why can't these groups get that into their heads?

I will look into it again, but the last I heard was that there is now a cap on the amount of benefits which can be received so it doesn't matter how many children they proceed to have....once you reach that limit, you get no more than that.
If memory serves, this was done at around the same time "welfare to work" was put into place and was fully intended to put an end to the "welfare baby" scheme.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I urge all of you to email the mayor and the TPD with our support of their enforcement action. If you're not from Tucson, mention how it makes the city safer for your vacation or future visit. Thanks
