Despite all the pressure from donors and special interests to do what Ryan and Priebus are doing, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), the ranking member of the Senate Budget Committee, offers a different pathway forward for the GOP: flip this whole debate on its head, undercut amnesty, and make the Democrats wear the blame for having fought against the interests of American workers.

At last! A ranking Repub has figured out how to undercut wealthy donors and congressional Demos.

If Repubs band together re using Americans' increasing knowledge about the ill effects for them of having millions of new chain migrants undercutting them and their children, we might actually be able to get an immigration policy which actually is in the best interests of the American people.

Knowledge of the ill effects of massive new immigration should also make it easier to build support for Universal E-Verify. Eliminating the jobs lure should make it infinitely easier to focus our border control efforts on terrorist illegals.
