Leaders take aim at illegal immigration

Illegal immigration was a major topic on the campaign trail and the new Albertville City Council is wasting no time addressing it.

During a public work session Thursday night, Mayor Lindsey Lyons and Councilman Chuck Ellis broached a pair of policies aimed at setting a tone of immediacy concerning the hot-button issue.
