The Recall of Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has begun.

Five members of your community took the initial steps and did their due diligence to comply with all requirements of the Election Code and LA City Charter which were required to begin the recall of the Mayor.

The Los Angeles City Elections Clerk has approved the Petition format and we have gone to press.

April 20, 2010 we begin the gathering of the 250,000 signatures needed to qualify the Recall for the Ballot. We only have four months to get the signatures required so there is no time to waste.

There will be a Press Conference on the South Lawn of City Hall on Tuesday April 20th at 9:30 AM. We will be distributing petitions at the Press Conference. Several TV News Outlets have confirmed attendance.

>We are looking for community leaders who will take the lead in their communities. Their duties will be to recruit circulators, educate circulators on getting valid signatures and distribute and collect petitions.

>We can not get signatures until 4/20 so the petitions will be ready to distribute on 4/20.
