La Raza President: Immigration Bill ‘Would Make Living in Arizona a Police State’ for Hispanics

Janet Murguia, president and CEO of the National Council of La Raza. (CNSNews.com/Penny Starr)(CNSNews.com) – The head of the National Council of LaRaza pleaded with Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer Thursday not to sign into law a bill that could become the toughest immigration statute in the nation.

“It perpetuates the fantasy that we can detain and deport millions of people from our country as a solution to our immigration problems and it propagates the notion that immigrants who are working hard in the Arizona economy are a criminal element to be rounded up and incarcerated,â€

We have alot of work to do to clean up this country. If it means carrying a tiny piece of paper to prove you belong here its the LEAST you can freakin do to help your fellow Americans (or in the case of immigrants YOUR GENEROUS hosts of your generous HOST nation)

Lend a hand. Carry your id.

Janet: I really don't hear a lot of legal Mexicans complaining, only the illegals shouting RAAAAACIM. Quite honestly, you've pulled that card so often, everyone believes you're bluffing. Legal residents have nothing to fear from this bill, other than employers losing their cheap labor.

This woman is out of touch with reality, but then again why wouldn't she be?

Illegal aliens have been living their lives as though they are above the law and now that Americans are insisting the law be enforced they are dumbfounded?

The Arizona Immigration law will result in just that: the enforcement of our existing immigration law, which by the way Janet, IS NOT BROKEN!!!!

Perpetuating the illogic mantra that enforcement of existing law is a racist solution that primarily targets Hispanics serves only to shine a spotlight on the fact that most illegal alien offenders in this country are of Hispanic origin. If this is grounds for no enforcement or amnesty, then this, in my humble opinion, is a viciously racist insult, and Ms. Murguia needs to be called out on it. Period.

DITTO M! It's a vicious racist insult because janet murguia, along with her la raza organization, are a bunch of racists! Is there any other way to see it?

Correction: Marguia you are the head of one of the nation's largest Mexican advocates. You and your oprganization could care a less about Hispanics. For what ever reason Murguia is not smart enough to understand thet neither Hispanic or Mexican is a race, so how could this possibly be racism? All Arizona is trying to do is get rid of the garbage in their own state. We need to elect strong leadership like Sheriff Joe or we will loose our country.

The La Raza Cosmica racists, with funding and support from the Ford Foundation and Globalist Corporations, have been able to institute a highly racist illegal "immigration" system that benefits Mexicans and Central Americans 100 times more than everyone else in the world.

Then they complain that ending that racism is racial profiling? OF COURSE IT IS RACIAL PROFILING!! Over 90% of illegals in Arizona are Latin American!! As La Raza wants.

Since the problem was created by racists the solution to ending this bias will of course be to primarily target people of one race. We didn't end KKK racism by targeting black men.
