Va. General Assembly To Take Up Illegal Immigration Issue

RICHMOND, Va. -- Illegal immigration may not be the top issue facing next year's General Assembly, but some Virginia lawmakers are still pushing for tougher legislation.
Some Republican lawmakers plan to introduce bills that could represent significant changes in the immigration law.
Delegate Jack Reid of Henrico County said he wants to make it illegal to transport illegal immigrants. Two other delegates want to make it a crime for someone to be in Virginia if they don't have proof of legal U.S. residence. They also want to fine businesses that knowingly hire illegal immigrants.
Similar House and Senate bills failed earlier this yearSupport our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at https://eepurl.com/cktGTn

It is kind of ironic to see State and Local governments come out strong against illegal immigration, while our Senate and Congress plan to follow through with an amnesty bill for the illegals!

I'm glad to see that VA is getting on the rolls as being opposed to
Illegal Immigration.
Our Federal Govt. isn't listening to the People of the US nor are they listening to the States and Local Govt. about Illegal Immigration.
They are determined to give Amnesty to the millions of illegal aliens
one way or another. Even if they have to sneak it through.
Can we make a big enough protest by writing, calling, faxes and visiting elected officials offices to make the difference in whether they get that Amnesty or not????
We were fairly successful this year. Let's see what we can do in the

Most federally elected officials are proving they do not work for the citizens of this country except for those funding their campaigns.

I agree crusader01, about the aclu. If we just keep working on cities/states to pass their ordiances, this will eliminate the aclu. I think if we keep trucking (keeping all illegals out of our cities)I think sooner or later they will stop, they will have nothing to sue over., no illegals in the cities no aclu period. They only want to hurt the american people, why! i don't know but it is their intentions. La Raza is another group trying to hurt the americans. Question, can they be sued over trying to hurt the americans.

It seems that states like CO and GA are having good success with passing laws without the ACLU and other groups suing. Perhaps we then concentrate on pushing the states to enact legislation. As Robinen suggests - put the ACLU and LULAC out of business.

Just heard on a talk radio show a guy call the ACLU the American Criminal Liberties Union. And I've heard many say (I agree) they should drop the word 'American.' So from now on they should be called the CLU, Criminal Liberties Union.
Geez, how I'd love to see them go broke.Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at https://eepurl.com/cktGTn
