IF YOU VOTED FOR THE AMNESTY BILLS LAST SUMMER AND STILL WANT TO GIVE AMNESTY TO ILLEGAL JACKA$$ES BREAKING THE UNITED STATES LAW THEN I HOLD YOU PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEATH OF THE AGENT BY NOT SECURING THE SOUTHERN BORDER WITH THAT CORRUPT GOVERNMENT FROM MEXICO.. BUILD THE DAMN FENCE AND DONT LOOK BACK. SCREW MEXICO AND THEIR WISHES. THIS IS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. NOT THE UNITED STATES OF MEXICO or AZTLAN or MEXICO NORTH

A U.S. Border Patrol agent was killed Saturday morning when he was intentionally struck by a Hummer fleeing law enforcement officers in the Imperial Sand Dunes near Yuma, Ariz.

The agent was hit about 9:30 a.m. as he was putting down spike strips near Gray's Well Road about a mile from the border with Mexico.

“The Hummer sped up and swerved toward our agent, killing him,â€

If these politicians are in it for the paycheck then get the hell out of office already if ur looking at this like a regular job as in making being a senator etc as your career. These people who are elected have no respect for the laws they are supposed to uphold. They have an opportunity to change the course of history, they wield the power and yet they allow themselves to be corrupted and are so blinded by the lining of their pockets by special interest business and ethnocentric groups like la raza that they forget it is us the american people who entrusted them with the responsibility to do what is right for the american people and for this country. It's disgusting the abuse of power that is allowed to continue simply because we are forced to look at two candidates and decide which is the lesser of two evils. Will no one step forward and steer this country back on course, back to the greatness the USA once stood for? Does no one remember the oath of office they took?

    Why Object to Fencing?

I am confused why anyone really objects to the proper double layered fencing as was proposed in the Secure Fence Act, and whose language was eviscerated when K Hutchinson had language changed in the latest Omni-Bus Appropriations legislation.

What "legal" activity takes place between official border crossing checkpoint gates where BP Agents process travelers? What is the economic value of such activity that takes place "between" legal crossing checkpoints?

I know farmers & ranchers use the Rio for water. That can easily be accommodated when the fence is built. The water can be brought to them. When it comes to crops, I seriously doubt there would be that much of a loss in crops. That too is accommodated when the government buys or leases the land. Those positions lack any real substance & those pushing them know it. They are straw man arguments meant to cloud the issue and to deflect attention away from actually getting the real job done!

Since the proposed fencing is not continuous & has crossing gate check points at numerous locations, it perplexes me exactly how fencing will detrimentally affect the economy of southern border states municipalities?

Lets face it, what happens between those "legal" crossings, is probably illegal. It probably has a lot to do with drugs, illegal aliens, stolen property, criminals moving back & forth, and/or terrorists.

The "legal" economic value of the between checkpoint commerce, cannot be all that significant.

So, why does anyone object? What's in it for them? How is a fence hurting the economy of any town, if legal traffic crosses at checkpoints? And, if there is traffic crossing over between checkpoints, it is already "ILLEGAL!"

No one can reasonably object to fencing, unless their objections are to securing the borders at all. Those who want open borders simply do not care what happens with the illegal activity, or they are foolish enough to actually believe there is no danger.

If the objections are the number of crossing checkpoints or the number of lanes at the checkpoints, that is a completely different discussion and one every reasonable person would be willing to discuss. If they need more gates and/or more Agents at gates, more lanes &/or Agents at the lanes, the public would surely support this so all legal traffic moves expeditiously & efficiently, after proper security clearance is conducted, including proper vehicle & personal searches. The public will back that.

But a meager fence, or no fence, only means some are supporting no fence so we have open borders & continue to supply greedy corporations with cheap illegal alien labor, and/or we have continuous flows of illegal drugs that are killing Americans, and/or we have easy access for those deranged rabid radical religious zealot nut case terrorists who want to either kill us, destroy our nation & subdue it, or they seek our surrender to their ideological rhetoric that subjugates decent Americans to a religion & religious legal system that is fraught with hate mongering.

If we kept the majority of the criminal illegal alien element out of America, we could save billions in incarceration costs alone, and those savings annually would easily pay for the fencing multiple times over and over again along the southern border, AND if needed, the northern border!

The fence & control of illegal aliens, contrary to the race baiting of those who demagogue opponents of open borders, is NOT a racist issue. It is not based on attitudes of bigots. It has nothing to do with isolationism or xenophobia.

The issue is protecting America, preserving our economic capability, and remaining free from attack, so we can continue to help the rest of the world find freedom and prosperity & especially if they finally embrace the concepts of a constitutional republic similar to the one that has been helping them for decades. Its called, America!

If these folks coming in want socialism, I suggest they stay in the failed socialist gwat nation they have been trying to escape from!

Kamnesty Bailey wants to do Bush's work

    K. Bailey has only voted to Enforce our Immigration Laws and to Secure our Borders when she feels pressure from Texas Citizens and of course the "lights are on". Example of her pushing through the "late night" amendment that "gutted"(sp.) the Border Security Fence.

Of course her reply makes no sense. Nothing our elected officials say or do regarding this entire issue involving the illegal invaders makes sense!

The only thing I can think of is that Mexico must be lining the pockets of every elected official in the country to force feed their pro-illegal agenda upon the American Citizens.

There can be no other rational explanation for the do nothing attitude of our represenatives.

Wonder if the bribe money is coming from the American tax payers' pockets via the billion dollars our "wonderfull" president is giving to Mexico.

    Elitist Politicians

Once again, K. Bailey is the same as most of "our" politicians and their contributors they consider United States citizens only as "units of labor" and the sooner we become a Third World Country the better for their "bottom line" Our elitist politicians and their elitist political contributors will not be happy until they transform the United States into a Third World Country for most of our citizens while furnishing the Chamber of Commerce and all their Elitist Special Interest Groups with their supply of "cheap labor". The politicians and their Elitist Contributors are providing "benefits" to the ILLEGALS on the backs of United States citizens through our assets such as the Education System, Social Security, and Health Care not to mention our National Security while "privatizing" the profits for themselves!
