This is undoubtedly the truth. The failure of so many attempted state and municipal bills is repeated over and over. ACLU, SPLC, special interest pressure, and free-for-all liberal judicial decisions have had disasterous effects on community legislation to control the impact of illegal immigration. Much of this legislation was intended to supplement federal laws as well as preserve the character of American communities. But the majority of helpless communities opt out because of financial considerations and deference to forthcoming national reform. Tremendous costly compounded problems that massive illegal immigration has created is the result. As cities and states deteriorate under the influx, the suffering American taxpayer is the bottom-line victim. The joke is on us.

I commend the stronger political leaders who have fought to correct the problems and succeeded in turning the tide in their localities. They are shining examples of courage and committment to their people. They are the true statesmen who understand the principles of American government and law. Huzzah!
