The billionaire businessman who leads Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg may want to take a long look at a study recently conducted by his pro-immigration organization, FWD.us.


According to the study, if President Trump were to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, more than 700,000 new jobs would become open to American citizens.

According to Breitbart News, FWD.us President Todd Schulte expected the study to show that American’s are helped by the more than 850,000 young illegal aliens (“Dreamers”) in the DACA program, which gives temporary amnesty to those seeking work in the U.S.


Instead, the study’s results indicate that if President Trump were to rid of DACA, an average of 30,000 American job opportunities would become available each month.


Nonetheless, according to Schulte, “Eliminating DACA would have immediate and severe consequences for not only the 800,000 Dreamers enrolled in the program, but for the millions of Americans who live, work, and study with these young people every single day.”


Many, who follow immigration statistics, believe the enormous illegal alien population, which is estimated to be between 12 to 30 million in number, in addition to the more than one million-per-year immigrants who are admitted legally, are helping to displace American workers and causing wages to languish at low levels.


A number of state attorneys general, including Texas’ Ken Paxton, have threatened the Trump administration with legal action in an attempt to force it to end the DACA program. At the very least, the attorneys hope the administration will refuse to defend the program in court.

During former President Obama’s final months in office, he issued more than 120,000 permissions for young illegal aliens to receive work permits, which, under DACA, are permitted despite immigration status.

According to Fox News, a White House source says Trump will likely end the DACA program on Friday. Speculation is that he will cancel the program which expires on Sept 5, but will allow those here already here to be grandfathered in. Dennis Michael Lynch weighed in on the decision, by saying, “Whether he wants to admit it or not, Trump allowing the 800,000 Dreamers protected by the program to stay in the United States is flat out amnesty. It remains to be seen how that sits with his base, but make no mistake, he is granting amnesty.”

My opinion-

If it happens that the President grandfathers in close to 900,000 illegal aliens as he dismantles DACA, he will have betrayed the American people. He added tens of thousands more to DACA and if this occurs we will be forced to continue to pay for the anchor baby births, education, crime, healthcare, handouts, etc. We did not get a wall or anything. They will get amnesty. We will be forced to contend with their attitudes of superiority, getting what they wanted with future guarantees by democrats for amnesty for their parents, siblings, other relatives. Millions of illegal aliens will get amnesty through the "heart" of President Trump and his democrat circle of family and staff in the White House, plus his liberal, elite friends like Newt Gingrich and Chris Christie.

If it happens, General John Kelly can say he kept his promise to protect illegal alien dreamers.

If it happens, the American people will again be put second, not first.

If it happens, republicans lose, democrats win.

If it happens we are repeating the past. Amnesty first versus America First.

Let us hope the President doesn't grant this enormous amnesty.

See, the program expired on June 15, except for the extension of the lawsuit which had a court order to continue DACA 2012 until the lawsuit was settled or dismissed. The lawsuit was first extended for 2 weeks by Judge Hanen from June 15 to June 30, then Texas AG requested a further extension to Sept. 5 which the Judge granted which now requires Trump to terminate it rather than let it expire by its terms.

As to this bizarre concept of "grandfathering" in, there is no legal mechanismfor such a thing. The program is being canceled because it's illegal and unconstitutional. You can't legally "grandfather" someone into an illegal unconstitutional program you've canceled on that basis.

Do they mean those with unexpired work permits will continue to have their permits until they expire? Well, if everyone had been paying attention, within the guidelines of DHS, there is no way presently to retrieve the work permits. The people have them, their employers rely on them, the government can ask for them to return them, but how many would do that? There was a big discussion about these work permits that have been handed out during the Texas lawsuit when Obama sent out 36,000 3 year work permits and tried to get them back, when the court ruled them illegal, and the court ruled they would have to expire since there was no legal way to force the people to send them back. The government can declare the work permits null and void but has no legal means to take any legal action to do anything about it, except deport the illegal aliens which is what should be done in the first place. I'm not saying make them a group priority, but Trump's priorities are pretty broad and will cover about 80% of DACAs.

What people need to understand is DACA's have no more right to be here than any illegal alien and no illegal alien has any right to be in the United States. No right at all. It's not "hard", requires no "big heart", it requires an end to an illegal program and swift deportation.

Deem these work permits Null & Void

Deem ALL Driver's Licenses issued to illegal aliens Null & Void

Deport the whole family. So if some family has extended work permits and some do not have work permits...then some go and some stay? They are ALL illegal and their anchor babies...they are NOT US citizens.

You're wrong, wrong, wrong. I don't know why you continue to insist on this non-relevant argument. DACA 2012 was never part of the original lawsuit and had nothing to do with it. That is why the Texas AG is now threatening to include it in the orginal lawsuit which Obama lost in the U.S. Supreme Court through a split-decision. That orginal lawsuit was on DAPA and the DACA extension, not the original DACA amnesty program. I think you're confusing the DACA extension, which would have extended the work permits, etc. to three years vice the current two years.

No, the program didn't expire on June 15th. Had it expired, we wouldn't be having this discussion right now.

DACA 2012 is tied to the lawsuit as a result of Hanen's Ruling that DACA 2012 continue in effect. This was part of the Ruling that was appealed all the way to the US Supreme Court. The Ruling stands to this day until the lawsuit is dismissed. Every time the lawsuit dismissal date is extended beyond DACA's expiration date which was June 15, DACA 2012 is extended accordingly.

Sean Spicer is the only person I've ever heard mention something about a June 15th expiration date and I'm suggesting he mispoke or was misinformed. If you want to legitimately argue that point, then produce documentation that actual states the program expired on June 15th. During arguments on the injunction the Texas lawsuit attorneys raised the issue of DACA 2012 with Judge Hanen to try and apply the injunction against DACA 2012 as well as DACA Expansion and DAPA. Judge Hanen denied their request and included in his Ruling a declaration that DACA 2012 will continue in effect. That Ruling is the Ruling that was upheld by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court and is the law of the land UNTIL the latter of the lawsuit is dismissed or the program expires by its terms.

It's you that is "tragically" confused. Judge Hanen said that DACA was "likely" unconstitutional, however, he wasn't there to rule on DACA. The actual lawsuit was on DAPA and the DACA extension. You're making much more of this than actually exist. Basically you're attempting to twist the situation to suit your own narrative. He only said it would continue in effect because he wasn't ruling on DACA since it wasn't part of the original lawsuit. This in no way had nothing to do with Trump's ability to end the program at any time. I repeat, DACA was not part of the lawsuit and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals or the U.S. Supreme Court rulings had anything to do with DACA because it was not part of the lawsuit. Obviously I don't know how to explain this in a way that you'll understand. DACA WAS NOT PART OF THE ORIGINAL LAWSUIT AND IT WAS NOT CONSIDERED BY JUDGE HANEN, THE 5TH CIRCUIT COURT OF APPEALS, OR THE U.S. SUPREME COURT. Furthermore, like I said, DACA does not have an actual expiration date and will only expire when the Trump administration ends it or the courts do.

You might want to read the part that says USCIS on June 5, 2014 announced its renewal of the DACA program for 2 more years then read the part where Jeh Johnson is changing that to 3 years in his November 2014 Memorandum. The program expires unless USCIS announces a renewal or a lawsuit ruling extends it.

DACA 2012 was part of the 2014 Memorandum being challenged in the Texas lawsuit and while by itself was not initially challenged by Texas and the 25 other states, it was however brought up during the arguments that led to a declaration by Judge Hanen that it would continue in effect. That means DOJ can't cancel it, DHS can't cancel it and the President can't cancel it until it expires or the lawsuit is dismissed whereby the ruling is dispensed with the lawsuit.

The only entity or person to challenge DACA 2012 in court was ..... Sheriff Joe, whose case was thrown out due to lack of standing. No state challenged it, no organization challenged it, no members of Congress introduced bills to stop it, no one did a thing. Then came DACA 2014 and Texas along with 25 other states said "whoa ... you're going too far" and they were going too far, too many people, too much discretion, too broad a program, and they successfully secured an injunction against DACA Expansion and DAPA, and as almost an after-thought they tried to secure an injunction during the hearing to include DACA 2012. But the Judge said no, it's different, it's much smaller only 500,000 people involved, already in effect, already fully implemented, people already relying on it, and he declared that it continue in effect, that is much different than simply saying your request is denied and not included anything about DACA 2012 in his Ruling, but he went further and said it's different, it's smaller, it stays. He took great care to do this to protect the program, whether he agrees with the policy or not, he found no fault with it or he would have stopped it with the request for injunction.

If you want to believe regardless of the outcome of DACA that Trump broke his promise to you, that's up to you. I have no problem with that, that is your free choice to make, for whatever reason or no reason you have for it. It makes no difference to me whether you like Trump or not. I would like to see DACA 2012 ended, the sooner the better, but legally, so there are no lawsuits that would have any meat on their bones. I think he's going to announce that the program expired in June but was kept going until the Texas lawsuit was dismissed, which is being dismissed simultaneously with my announcement today as President of the United States, that a renewal of this program is not in the best interest of the citizens of the United States or the sovereignty of our nation and will not be renewed. He'll sign an Executive Order effectuating the termination of the program, thank everyone and walk out of the room.

I'll just leave you with this one comment: President Trump could have ended DACA at anytime he so chose. There is no court action in effect that prevents or has prevented that very simple act. You are the only person that has ever suggested otherwise. I would like to say your confusion and miscomprehension of the actual facts is surprising, however, we all know you're only shoving out misinformation to obfuscate the actual facts and cover for Trump's failure to keep his promise to the American people.

I am not the only person to say this and I am not the only person who knows this. Jeff Sessions knows it. The courts know it. The White House knows it. Texas and the other 25 states know it.
