White House: DACA decision coming Tuesday

President Trump will announce his decision on whether to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program on Tuesday, the White House announced.

"We are in the process of finalizing that decision and those details, and we are actually going to make that announcement on Tuesday of next week," White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said on Friday.


"The president’s priorities on immigration are to create a system that encourages legal imm and benefits our economy and American workers. the president has been very clear, he loves people and he wants to make sure this decision is done correctly."

The White House has been grappling with the future of the Obama-era program that extends temporary deportation relief to certain undocumented immigrants who applied for work permits with the federal government.

Trump promised to take a hard line on illegal immigration during his campaign, but has so far kept the program on the books.

Waiting until Tuesday is a mistake. If you're going to end it, do it now while a lot of folks are dealing with the Houston situation and going into a 3 day holiday period. You should never start a new news week cycle with stuff like this ..... end it at the end of the week.

Maybe he's not going to end it. Maybe he's going to let Texas and the 9 other states take it to the courts.

Let's hope not! Doing that will certainly put AG Sessions on the spot because we all know he adamantly opposes DACA.

Then maybe he's just waiting until Tuesday when the program expires with dismissal of the Texas lawsuit, September 5th. Or maybe he didn't want to be accused of a weekend low news cycle to announce it, Sanders mentioned something about that, too. Dunno, we'll find out on Tuesday what the decision is.

DACA is not law and has no expiration date. It only ends when the Trump administration ends it or it is ended by the courts as a result of legal action.

If Trump refused to end DACA and decides to defend the program in court, he'll just concrete his position as an illegal immigrant amnesty supporter.

He may be willing to do that. After all, you've made it clear that ending DACA now still leaves him a dishonorable betrayer of the American People in your view, so what does he gain at this point with people and organizations who hold your views of him? He gains nothing.

I personally believe Trump will let DACA 2012 expire on Tuesday, simultaneous with the dismissal of the Texas lawsuit, and refuse to renew it because the program is not in the best interest of American citizens or the sovereignty of the United States.

Now they are giving the EXCUSE they pay into Social Security, pay taxes, etc.

These ILLEGALS take 10 times more than they will ever pay into our system.

With their anchor babies, tax credits, welfare, food stamps and destroying our neighborhoods...get them all out.

Let them GO contribute to paying taxes in their country and build success on their soil.

This is the globalist meme for foreign workers, legal or illegal, as if had those jobs been filled with American Workers, they would hold no economic benefit. If all the jobs currently filled with illegal aliens were filled by Americans the economic benefits to the United States is in the hundreds of billions per year because it reduces the cost of unemployment, poverty and welfare both ways, both for the Americans the scab illegal aliens put out of work and the illegal aliens who can't live on their wages and draw welfare to boot.
