    Why deny them an education? Because citizen taxpayers subsidize the in-state tuition they demand. Because citizen taxpayer funds were used to build the schools and universities.

    The difference this time might be that the party is coming off a sizable election loss in which its unpopularity among Hispanics was a key factor.
    When did losing only 8 seats in the US House become a "sizable election loss"? The Democrats lost 60 seats to the GOP in 2010 when GOP candidates ran tough against illegal immigration. Now 60 seats is a sizable loss for Democrats, 8 seats is not a sizable loss for Republicans.
