After staying quiet following Arizona’s passage of a controversial new immigration law, a number of national Republican voices have begun to criticize it as heavy-handed.

Republicans
It amazes me that our leaders are against enforcement of immigration LAW. It has been ignored for 30 years and we should believe that now, Congress will do something effective. I don't believe it for a second.
Pretty obvious that these guys are all open border, pro amnesty RINO's. They do not care about American jobs or American killed by illegal immigrants. But they are bent all out of shape worrying that some hispanic will be offended by being asked for documents. Legal immigrants are required to carry documents. Citizens who are driving must have a license and insurance. Why are illegal immigrants exempt from all the laws?

Once again this bill for the most part mirrors federal immigration law.If the federal government will not enforce the law it is up to the states to do the job.
