PatrioticMe: I so agree. Monies would have been better spent bringing in new jobs for those needing it. A man 230 years deceased is in no need of employment. Those in your area with families, bills, etc. are in desperate need of them. As are many in many areas of the country. .
Hopefully the voters will remember this waste of his come voting time and get rid of him in favor of someone who will use the monies to bring in jobs for those that need it desperately. An American of Irish descent - NOT an "Irish-American".

That means secure our borders, enforce US immigration law, deport illegal aliens, restrict legal immigration, defeat amnesty and restore protected trade policies. I also think we should pass the FairTax which has a lot of support in the US Congress with 59 co-sponsors on the House Bill 25 because, among many other benefits, it will bring our industries and investment capital back to the US since income is no longer taxes. HB 3200, the former health care reform bill, only had 8 by comparison.

2009, right here, right now, should be about jobs for American citizens and legal immigrants. 2010 is too late for too many.
The wall to secure our border should have been built long before now. Our Border Patrol Agents should be given the ability to effectively support our borders without having to worry about persecution (intentionally written) if they have to stop a criminal attempting to enter our country illegally with force. I don't see that happening in 2010 either without many, many angry citizen voices supporting them.
NAFTA and the outsourcing of jobs should be a crime of treason and those responsible prosecuted and imprisoned for those crimes. It's taken and continues to take jobs from our citizens while the companies reap the benefits of doing business here.
Look at IBM - hand out for stimulus money but they downsized thousands of jobs to India putting American workers on the unemployment lines.
That stimulus money comes from the taxpayers in the long run - not from the Indian government where IBM employs workers cheaply. Let those IBM employees agree to pay cuts to equal the "stimulus" monies that IBM has their hand out waiting for American taxpayers to give them!An American of Irish descent - NOT an "Irish-American".

If I am not mistaken, Baltimore's Pulaski Highway was named for him.
And Lafayette has a square in DC.
Of course, one must realize that Kucinich has also seen flying saucers, as he said in one presidential debate.
This is just leading up to one thing, IMO. The value of all immigrants, legal or illegal to contribute to this country. Look what the immigrants did before we even became a country, and imagine how much more they can do.
Too bad we cannot denote what our tax dollars go to or don't go to. I guess Congress just knows better than we how to spend time. SPIT!Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Wow, I am sure the Pulaski descendent's are wanting back pay, lets pay them in Corn.
I think if we send an immigrant into battle to fight and possibly die for our country, (Under the Flag of the United States) our beliefs and freedom, then the least we can do is give them citizenship. They are after all fighting for something, fighting for the United States.America <div>Home of the free</div><div>Home of the brave</div><div>Home of 20 million illegal*alien villagers*and counting!*</div>

Mikhail Sobko, 90, a Ukrainian Jew who now lives in San Diego, fought against the Nazis as an interrogator with Soviet forces.
For 90 years, the United States has officially honored its military veterans on Nov. 11 in a shower of red, white and blue — a holiday as thoroughly all-American as the Fourth of July.
But not all the veterans are native-born.
Some of them grew up in other nations, joined the armed forces and fought for the United States or its allies in places such as Ukraine, Korea and the Philippines. They are proud to say their combat valor is no less than that of troops from Boston, Milwaukee or Oceanside.
For this Veterans Day, three such members of San Diego County's roughly 250,000-strong veterans community shared their stories.

The Philippine Scouts earned a reputation for loyalty in their campaign against Japan that followed the Pearl Harbor attack of World War II.
It was December 1941. The Scouts, who served under U.S. Army commanders, tried valiantly but unsuccessfully to hold back Japanese troops invading the Philippines.
In defeat, about 54,000 Filipinos had to suffer through the Bataan Death March alongside roughly 16,000 Americans. Nearly half of them died then or during the six subsequent months of captivity.
The survivors included Isabelo “Billâ€NO AMNESTY
