A Tulsa man who appeared to be intoxicated and didn't have a driver's license allegedly fled the scene of a car wreck that sent a pregnant woman to the hospital early Sunday.
Durian Ramos-Lopez, 28, was booked into the Tulsa Jail at about 5 a.m. Sunday on complaints of leaving the scene of an injury accident, driving under the influence and having no driver's license.
He is being held without bond and has a hold placed on him by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, jail records show.
Tulsa Police observed the wreck at about 2:15 a.m Sunday in the 9500 block of 104 East Avenue and an officer saw one of the vehicles drive away and into a mobile home park, where it crashed into a car port, according to an arrest report.
Officers caught up with the driver, Ramos-Lopez, and noticed he had bloodshot eyes, smelled of alcohol and was slurring his speech, according to the report.
During booking, officers attempted to administer a breath test, but Ramos-Lopez only blew short bursts of air and would not blow long enough for the test to be completed, according to the report.
He had no driver's license with him or on file and the vehicle he was driving did not contain insurance verification and had an expired tag, according to the report.
The condition of the injured woman was not immediately available.
