Dear Brothers and Sisters:
If any want to give call, I just got this Senate Alert from U.S. English, Inc.
Also want to note that you can call the U.S. State Department at:
(202) 647-4000
I did it today-- you first get a live person and just tell this person that you want to leave a comment to Condoleeza Rice of the State Dept.
She needs to stand for the U.S. that she represents NOT the imposement of a foreign illegal agenda with an illegal Border intrusion with assault upon U.S. laws and institutions of the United States!
I urge all to call and fill up her mail box.
Action Alert:
To: Select U.S. English Members
From: Tim Schultz, Director of Government Relations
Subject: Senate Action Alert!
Date: May 1, 2006
Dear Friend:
By now, you have probably heard about the controversy surrounding the "National Anthem in Spanish" called Nuestro Himno. This week, the Senate will vote on a resolution affirming that our national anthem should be recited in the unifying language of our country, English.
In response, Senator Lamar Alexander [R-TN] will introduce a Sense of the Senate resolution that declares "that statements or songs that symbolize the unity of the American Nation, including the National Anthem, the Oath of Allegiance sworn by new U.S. citizens, and the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States, should be recited or sung in the common language of the United States: English."
It is important that this Sense of the Senate pass overwhelmingly. It will reaffirm that English is not an "optional component" of being an American, and it will lay the framework for our overall legislative efforts to make English the official language of the United States.
Please call your Senators and urge them to support the Alexander national anthem resolution.
You can find the contact information for your Senators here: http://www.senate.gov/
Or you can reach the Senate switchboard at (202) 224-3121.

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!! The only thing Bush has done right in the past 3 years was to stand up and say they need to sing the national anthem in English and this is the place where his biggest puppet decides to revolt! I just love it!
