    Rick Perry’s Latino problem

    Rick Perry’s Latino problem

    CNN
Post by: CNN Radio's John Sepulvado

Some Texas Latinos might appreciate Gov. Rick Perry's illegal-immigrant tuition stance, but Latinos still largely don't vote for him.

Presidential candidate and Texas Gov. Rick Perry is taking heat from many in his own party for supporting a state policy giving in-state tuition rates to children of illegal immigrants.

But while this position may be seen as favorable for Latinos – a large majority of Texas’ illegal immigrants are Latino, with more than 60 percent of them hailing from Mexico alone, according to the Pew Hispanic Center – it hasn’t gained him much Latino support in his own state.

Almost two-thirds of Latino voters in Texas vote Democratic, and Latinos overwhelmingly vote against Perry, a Republican.

In a GOP presidential debate last month, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney criticized Perry for supporting Texas’ illegal-immigrant tuition policy. Perry responded this way: “If you say that we should not educate children who have come into our state … by no fault of their own, I don’t think you have a heart.â€

    .

When will the GOP ever learn. Pandering to illegal invaders in the way of DREAM ACTS, amnesties, incentives, pro-latino-rhetoric, etc., will NEVER bring hispanics, as a voting block, to your side! As a block, they vote democratic because they like and depend on entitlement programs that the Dems sell them. When some La Raza proclaims hispanics are ripe for GOP recruitment, if only the GOP were to adopt a softer position on immigration, (amnesty), they are lying to you!

    Wake up GOP!

A Republican candidate can destroy themselves by alienating 80% of Americans that oppose Comprehensive Amnesty (John McCain) and in-state tuition for illegals (Rick Perry) and Latinos still dont vote for them.

This is because most legal Hispanics do not support the illegal immigration agenda.

That invasion agenda is supported by big elites, illegal aliens, and the well funded front groups and activists they field.

This isn't about the latino vote, it is simply about erasing our borders and creating the North American Union. Remember George Bush, Ramos and Compion, Johnny Sutton, Alberto Gonzalez. How soon we forget.

I havent forgot.Reagan amnesty Bush pushing amnesty their GOP.Thats one reason hispanics legal ones dont vote GOP because legals and the ones that come into this country and become citizens the right way resent the fact that illegals get every break.GOP is funded by big money corperations that want to pay lower wages break unions and right to work act so the can hire illegals for less money, just like Perry has done in his state of Texas. He got the right to work act now more illegals have gone to work there because of it.AMERICAN hispanics work for the same wages as white black or any other true AMERICAN citizen and resent the fact illegals also take their jobs for less money.

Thank you. Now help me here to keep reminding these people of that fact. I live in Texas and that is exactly what Perry has done here. Now there are trying to keep the illegals from leaving by doing just that. If we can't defeat them in the next election then we are sunk.
