An immigrant rights group claimed victory Sunday in its effort to disrupt a Los Angeles police drunken driving checkpoint
Isn't there a law against interfering with a law enforcement officer while performing his duties?

Sure there is...but like with everything else regarding this issue, illegal invaders and their advocates seemingly get a pass (especially here in sanctuary city Los Angeles) when it comes to the law.

anyone interfering with a police officer performing his or her duty can and should be arrested for obstruction. If the person resists it turns into a possable felony resisting arrest or assault on a police officer if there is any physical altercation. Each and every one of those who were withing the perimiter of the checkpoint should have been arrested for at least creating a dangerous situation or failing to obey if the officers to ld them to leave. As for the vehicles...An illegal has NO right to drive. Whay would her or she need a car if they shouldn't be driving in the first place. Maybe an ICE checkpoint needs to be plugged in there as well. It would however figure this happened in california. Gutless wonders, limp wristed bleeding hearts elect officials who have no real reason to be in office other than to encourage and support the breaking of laws and encouragement of the refusal to enforcement of the existing laws of the state or federal laws. Law enforcement needs to take the hard stand and put an end to the protestors dictating to the police and their operations.
