MCCAIN BOOSTS 'ILLEGALS'

July 25, 2006 -- Taking Mayor Bloomberg's view one step further, Sen. John McCain warned last night that the American economy would collapse if 11 million illegal aliens are sent packing.

"What are we going to do with 11 million people?" McCain asked at a dinner at the New York Yacht Club honoring Irish-Americans on Wall Street.

"You going to send 'em all back? Mayor Bloomberg testified at a hearing last week that the economy of New York City would collapse [without illegal immigrants]. I would argue the economy of America would collapse."

The Arizona Republican is co-sponsor of a bill, with Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.), that would provide for a guest-worker program and a path to citizenship for many illegal immigrants

The keynote address at the "Wall Street 50 Awards" dinner was delivered by John Duffy, chairman and CEO of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, who lost his son in the attacks on the World Trade Center and had to rebuild his company.

The big joke here is that they've gotten the low-ball 11 million number etched in stone now.

Nobody knows how many illegals there are, and apparently nobody in power cares. But they do want to make the number as small as possible, otherwise more people might awaken from their slumber.

Figuring at least 6 million illegals live on the West Coast alone, there's a lot more than 11 million nationwide.

There is not ONE shred of evidence of this......the impact would be a mere "hiccup." I would be embarrassed to concede that the economy of the the world's Superpower nation is dependent on hordes of foreign national high school dropouts. Geez, what a huge stupid-asinine statement.

It sounds grossly like what was said about the "cotton not being picked." Why are these people hell-bent on destroying this Nation? McCain and his "Yacht Club" Wall street buddies can go to hell, since they are trying to take his along with them.
