July 17, 2007) — City man jailed in fake ID sale

A Rochester man received 27 months in federal prison Monday for possessing false immigration documents.

James S. Appleberry, 41, pleaded guilty to creating a counterfeit immigration employment authorization card in exchange for $300 given to him by a witness working on behalf of federal investigators.

The card was handed over in a barbershop on North Clinton Avenue on March 30, 2005
