Rolling Blackouts - Part of Cost of Illegal Aliens
Here in Texas -
Yesterday - we in Texas experienced "Rolling Blackouts".
This is the first time I can recall that ever happening in Houston -
much less Texas.
Rolling Blackouts are an East Coast/West coast phenomenon - or so I thought.
Today - News Stations are "encouraging" everybody here in
Texas to conserve energy....
In the inerest of "energy conservation" I have several questions -
regarding "energy conservation and illegal aliens".
How much "Electrical" energy would we conserve if ALL the illegal Aliens
in the Houston area went home.
Last I heard there are over 4-millon people in the Houston Metro area
and 25 percent of the Houton Metro area population are illegal aliens.
So lets say 1-million illegals in the Houston Metro area.
If ALL the 1-million Illegal Aliens in the Houston Metro area went home -
would we still have "rolling blackouts" ?
If ALL the Illegal Aliens in Texas went home - would we still have "rolling blackouts" ??
If ALL the Illegals 11-30 million went home - would any state be
experiencing any power shortages ???
The MSM say that part of the high cost of gasoline here in the states -
is because our refineries are maxed out.
How much would gasoline prices fall if we had 11-30 million fewer illegals buying gas here in the states ??
For the sake of argument - let's just use 15 million illegals multiplied by - 15 gallons per week...
Wouldn't that be -- what - 225 million (?) gallons of gasoline saved per week ??
How much would gas prices drop at the pump ??
How much would our electric bills drop ??
Well- maybe Gas Prices and Electric bills wouldn't drop by much.
They may perhaps, not even drop not at all.
However -- We would be conserving energy - and we would probably
stop Rolling Blackouts here in Texas altogether.
Perhaps at the very least, we would reduce the number and frequency
of Rolling Blackouts across the nation.
