articles like this ruin my view of Ron Paul. Trying to claim that the atomic bombs were somehow to punish Japan for economic infringement is simply B.S. we dropped bombs to end a war against an enemy willing to kill themselves to kill us.

You could email Mr. Paul and ask him to read this article and explain if he agrees with it. From the heading of the article one would think that the author suggests blood shed if Ron Paul is elected.

I seriously doubt that he would agree with that at all.

Still , one has to wonder. Doctors kill more people in America each year due to mistakes and malpractice then guns do.

I think you are totally misreading the content of this article.

The atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki probably took a lot less lives than they saved! Truman had no choice, the only alternative was to continue fighting Japan on land and at sea, prolonging a stalemate that had already left millions of soldiers dead on both sides.

Are you old enough to remember the real reason it started ? The Oil embargo against Japan and Japans anger and promise of retaliation?
