Thread: WAR IN MEXICO: 12 killed since Tuesday in Baja

TIJUANA: The wave of killings in northern Baja California resumed this week after a pause last weekend, when officials reported no slayings for almost 48 hours.

The killings attributed to organized-crime gunmen started again Tuesday and totaled 12 by yesterday, including a police assistant commander, said the Baja California Attorney General's Office .

The assistant director of operations of the Rosarito Municipal Police Department, Jesús MarNa Elizalde Romero, was ambushed early Thursday in his patrol pickup on the Tijuana-Ensenada toll road.

The other 11 victims were found in various parts of Tijuana and Tecate. Two were tortured and shot to death. Their bodies were found wrapped in blankets. Two others were dumped in an industrial park.

From Jan. 1 through yesterday, 783 people have been killed in Tijuana, according to the Attorney General's Office. Most were victims of the battle between warring drug gangs and police

Jesse Ventura lives there. Remember he moved there to get out of the rat race. I think he is amongst rats now!!!!

Most of the MSM still doesn't cover the WAR IN MEXICO to the extent that they should. There are even some here that don't think we should cover it here and be concerned about the ramifications of this war on us and our country.
