COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Federal prosecutors say two people from Mexico and a man from Honduras have pleaded guilty to sending illegal immigrants across state lines to be prostitutes for migrant workers in Aiken County.

Authorities said 42-year-old Maria Garcia-Moreno, 30-year-old Ruben Cabanas-Torres and 51-year-old Esteban Acosta-Munoz each face up to 10 years in prison when they are sentenced at a later date.

Prosecutors say the three suspects brought women who were in the U.S. illegally from Atlanta to Aiken County for more than three years to sell sex to Aiken County farm workers.

Authorities say all three defendants will be deported after serving any prison sentences.
