San Antonio: 10 years for conspiring to transport illegal immigrants
SAN ANTONIO A federal judge in San Antonio today ordered ten years in prison for a woman who pleaded guilty to conspiracy in a human smuggling case.
Thirty-six-year-old Maria Magdelena Parra-Luna received the maximum penalty.
The Mexican citizen was a fugitive from 2002 until May fifth of 2006, when she was arrested in Texas. She pleaded guilty to the conspiracy charge in July.
On August 20 of 2002, 32 undocumented immigrants from Honduras and Mexico were found in a hot mobile home in Campbellton.
One earlier got sick and was left behind. He died of heat stroke.
The rest were taken to the Parra-Luna property and were detained until relatives wired money for their release.
Nine defendants, including Parra-Luna's husband, have been sentenced to prison over the smuggling operation.
A message left for Parra-Luna's attorney wasn't immediately returned.Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at https://eepurl.com/cktGTn

Since one died, maybe 10 years is not enough. The criminal aliens have to take responsibility for being harmed. if they had stayed home they would not be in danger, however, living someone to die deserves more punishment than just 10 years.
Thank you! We are ready to roll.
