SAN ANTONIO (AP) - A college student from Saudi Arabia has been deported weeks after pleading guilty to forcing his way onto San Antonio's Fort Sam Houston and claiming he had a bomb.

Federal officials announced Tuesday that 24-year-old Mustasim Abdul-Aziz Alati was flown last week to Riyadh (rih-YAHD'), Saudi Arabia.

Alati pleaded guilty Jan. 8 to evading detention and illegal entry onto a military base. On that same day he was escorted by FBI agents to an outbound flight but refused to board.

Authorities later obtained a judicial order that led to last week's deportation.

The Nov. 23 incident at Fort Sam Houston prompted a four-hour lockdown. No explosives were found.

Alati was a University of the Incarnate Word student at the time.

His defense attorney blamed Alati's actions on stress and marijuana.
